Contract(W2)|$95–$100/hr|FullBenefits+PTO

SustainableTalentispartneringwithNVIDIA,agloballeaderinacceleratedcomputing,graphics,andAItechnologies,tohireaSensorSystemsTechniciantosupporttheirSensorSystemsEngineeringteaminSantaClara.

ThisrolesupportsthedevelopmentandvalidationofsensorhardwarecomponentsusedinNvidiaAutonomousVehicles.

TheteamfocusesontestingandvalidatingVehiclesensorperformanceatthecomponentlevelbeforeandduringintegrationintovehicleplatforms.Workisprimarilyconductedinlabenvironments,withoccasionalvehicle-basedvalidation.

Theteamworkswitharangeofsensorsincludingcameras,radar,lidar,ultrasonicsensors,andIMUs,withcamerasensorsbeingakeyfocusarea.

WhatYou'llDo

  • Build,operate,andmaintainsensorhardwaretestsetupsforvalidatingsensorperformance
  • Performcomponent-leveltestinganddebuggingofsensorsincludingcameras,lidar,radar,ultrasonicsensors,andIMUs
  • Developrepeatablelab-basedvalidationprocessestomeasuresensoraccuracy,calibration,andreliability
  • Captureandanalyzetestdatatoevaluatesensorperformanceandsystembehavior
  • WriteormodifyPythonscripts/toolstoimprovetestingworkflowsandautomation
  • WorkinLinuxandWindowsenvironmentstoruntests,troubleshootissues,andmanagesensordata
  • Documenttestconfigurations,results,andfindingstoensurereproducibilityandtraceability
  • Maintainorganizedlabenvironments,testingequipment,andsensorhardwareinventory
  • Collaboratecloselywithhardware,software,andsystemsengineerstodebugandimprovesensorperformance

  • Bachelor’sdegreeinEngineering,Physics,Robotics,orrelatedfield,orequivalenthands-onexperience
  • Hands-onexperiencetestingordebuggingAVsensorhardware
  • Experienceworkingwithoneormoresensorssuchas:
  • Camerasensors(stronglypreferred)
  • LiDAR
  • Radar
  • Ultrasonicsensors
  • IMU
  • ExperiencewritingPythonscriptsfortesting,automation,ordataanalysis
  • FamiliaritywithLinuxandWindowsoperatingsystemsintechnicalenvironments
  • Strongtroubleshooting,documentation,anddataanalysisskills
  • Highlyhands-on,proactive,andcurious,withinterestinlab-basedengineeringwork
