About this Job
Join us to define the future of autonomous driving through technology—and leave a lasting, meaningful impact on the world. We are seeking a determined, product-focused Senior Technical Program Manager to help compose and build our global-scale crowdsourced mapping product. This map acts as the spatio-temporal foundation for on-vehicle driving models, enabling autonomous vehicles (AVs) to steadily improve performance on frequently traveled routes. You will join our dynamic, fast-paced AV organization, where we develop technologies that power everything from driver assistance to full “hands-off, mind-off” autonomous driving capabilities.
Are you ready to manage complex technical systems that deliver true self-driving capabilities to users? In this role, you will lead the effort by working closely with crowdsourced mapping software teams. You will communicate effectively across the AV ecosystem and partner with cross-functional groups, customers, and vendors.
What You Will Be Doing:
Work directly with the engineering team to clarify business and technical requirements for NVMap, and identify potential suppliers. Follow through the entire procurement process end-to-end, and strictly supervise the delivery timeline and quality of supplier deliverables.
Receive candidate OEMs, provide a clear and comprehensive introduction to the NVMap product architecture, roadmap, and its relationship with the overall NDAS ecosystem, demonstrating strong confidence in potential OEM partnerships.
Collaborate closely with internal SIT and product teams to quickly follow up and close out map issues during sweeping and demo phases, ensuring high-quality data delivery. Proactively communicate project progress and coordinate the resolution of critical issues.
What We Need to See:
8+ years of technical program management experience on complex, large-scale programs in the field of autonomous driving.
Having mass production experience in rolling out highway/urban ADAS functions (both HD and SD) for city expansion across multiple carlines.
A dedicated professional passionate about product delivery, with strong skills in multitasking, partner influence, communication, presentation, consensus-building, and cross-functional team development.
Ability to think both strategically and tactically, with a history of gaining agreement to deliver successful programs.
Demonstrated capacity to think creatively to resolve technical challenges and resource conflicts.
A proven history of excellence in business/program management within dynamic, fast-paced organizations.
Passion for and experience with product development processes and methodologies.
Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, JAMA).
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:
Experience in or strong familiarity with the L2+/L3/L4 autonomous vehicle software industry.
Knowledge of HD/SD mapping technologies—especially with hands-on experience in practical AV use cases.
Demonstrated experience in turning new products and technologies from concept into actual results, with a focus on managing complex software projects and groups within agile frameworks.
Evidence of a continuous learning approach, enthusiasm for solving tough problems, and a dedication to delivering high-quality end products.
