Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the shift-supporting Automation Technicians (AGV Plant).
Plan, integrate, and commission scalable AGV systems on the shopfloor.
Connect AGVs to ERP, MES, and WMS systems while ensuring IT and cybersecurity compliance.
Implement and optimize transport routes, layouts, charging and buffer zones through system parameterization.
Ensure maintenance, repair, and overall system availability.
Analyze technical faults and define/implement sustainable corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with relevant norms and standards (e.g., VDI 2710).
Monitor and optimize the performance of all AGV systems.
Coordinate interfaces between production, logistics, IT, the AGV supplier, and external partners.
Train and qualify employees in the safe and effective use of AGV systems.
Maintain and update master data, routes, control logic, and dispatching/dispatch control settings.
Monitor KPIs, prepare reports, and derive improvement measures.
Conduct risk assessments in human–machine mixed environments in close collaboration with relevant departments.
Qualifications:
Technical degree in automation engineering, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering; alternatively, an equivalent qualification.
Experience with V2X communication, networking protocols, cloud integration, and ERP/MES systems.
Familiarity with VDI 2710 standards and certification processes.
Ideally, understanding of IT/OT communication (WLAN, MQTT/OPC UA, interfaces, basic networking).
Experience working with AI algorithms, reporting tools, and programmable logic controllers (PLC/SPS).
