Field Service Engineer 1

Job Summary:

As a Senior Service Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for:

• Executing preventive maintenance activities to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Performing troubleshooting and diagnostics on DeltaV DCS systems to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Carrying out logic and graphics modifications to optimize system functionality and meet customer requirements.
• Supporting expansion project execution, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with industry standards.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills in automation systems, Ability to work independently and collaboratively in customer-facing environments

For this role you will need:

1. Will be responsible for 40 DeltaV Systems install-base in Karnataka Location. 2. Currently 25 Systems are under maintenance contract and running Billing Value: 165 KUSD (Approx.) Yearly with OE % >85% . 3. Total 15 System Maintenance Contract Execution will be allocated to this resource (Total Billing Value will be Approx. 160 KUSD Yearly) 4. Total around 192-210 days site visit will require for serving the service agreements with respective customer at Hyderabad Location.

Technical : Team Member / Self-directed contributor. Part of a team but can work independently.

Interaction : Receives guidance from a mentor, interfaces with others in the team to complete assignments as needed / Leads interactions with other sites and departments to complete project objectives

Mentoring: Nil / Mentor to Service Engineers or TechniciansPlanning : Participates in short-term decision planning period (days) / Medium term decision planning period (weeks-months)

Customer : Limited customer interface. Works with a team; alongside a more senior engineer as needed. / Independent customer or sales force interface

TECHNICAL DISTINCTION + BU Specific : Demonstrates qualification in technical-service field. / Independent completion of service activities

Industry Awareness : Takes initiative to learn industry, project, service, EPM market, customer market, business requirements

Providing Solutions : Takes direction from Senior Service Engineer for small service projects / Has a high level of general knowledge and has a service specialization - certification identified and is continuing to develop skills in this product & certification area.

Improving the Process : Learns and uses process improvements / Implement Process Change Work

Technical Skills / Knowledge Required :

Knowledge of Distributed Control System (DCS) - Basic Requirement.

Knowledge of Pharma / Chemical Industry / Refinery is an added advantage.

Knowledge of Batch, Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus, Networking, Safety Systems preferred.

Knowledge of Basic Cybersecurity requirements as per ISA Standards (Not Mandatory)
