Job Summary:
The Algorithm Engineer will work in a team environment to develop next-generation products for automotive ADAS, active safety, and AD vehicle systems. This will include design, development, and testing of feature/function algorithms, related to vehicle control.
Your Role:
Design, simulate, implement, and test ADAS algorithms using MATLAB-Simulink and/or C++.
Collaborate with systems engineers to support the creation and break-down of requirements and test cases.
Develop technical specifications and DFMEAs.
Collaborate with upstream and downstream teams to ensure proper feature functionality.
Proactively identify and contribute to changes that help the product progress along its roadmap.
Analyse defects and test results to ensure KPI achievement by root causing the issues and designing algorithm improvements.
Work with colleagues and customers to develop and implement enhancements to address real-world performance issues.
Complete assigned individual and team tasks.
Follow defined software development and documentation procedures.
Your Background: (6-11 years)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or related technical field.
Experience with Vehicle Dynamics, State Estimation and advanced filtering methods.
6+ years of programming experience in development and testing of algorithms in: C++ and Simulink modeling
Strong background in Vehicle Dynamics, control theory & systems design
Excellent data extraction & analysis skills (MATLAB, Excel)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in EEE ,Instrumentation ,ECE Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics or related technical field.
6+ years of development and testing of algorithms and code experience (can include industry, academic or internship) – MBD and C++.
Superior communication & presentation skills
Background in automotive radar, vision, lidar, sensor fusion
ISO 26262 / Functional Safety functional expertise
