Job Description

Summary:

Perform intermediateto complex firmware and software testing activities including test system development, test development under the direction of the Test Project manager or associated work team. Have responsibility for development and execution of tests within the assigned program(s). Has indirect guidance of test technicians on assigned projects. Contribute to the development of new test procedures. Focus is on delivering high-quality product,. The company will base you in Pune, Hinjewadi with a hybrid work schedule.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform intermediate to complex functional and product testing on embedded firmware-based projects at the unit, integration and functional and system level.
• Proficient in the creation and modification of test proceduresand associated test scripts.
• Responsible for the realisation of test stations for automation and functional testing.
• Implement product functional test plans and assicoated test cases from product Functional Requirements (FRS) and firmware High-level Design documents (HLDD).
• Establish the design and documetation of product and system test set-ups.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, with concentration in firmware / software.
• 5 or moreyears experience in firmware Testing, Firmware Development, Applications Engineering work, Technical Support, or other Testing/Quality Assurance role.
• We need someone who programmes PLCs and is familiar with Rockwell Automation products or other industrial control equipment.
• We desire knowledge of software / firmware test methodologies.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Develop advanced software test scripts using Python or other common programming language.
• Able to handle Hardware Modules.
