Job Description
Technical Intern will work with Life Cycle Services Business Unit, intern will get opportunity to work & learn about Industrial Automation Projects using Rockwell Automation Products & Software, for example Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Distributed Control System (DCS) & Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems. The successful candidate will receive Soft Skills & Technical Training through eLearning, Virtual / Classroom trainings, post to the training the Intern will be assigned to projects, where he/she will work under the direction of an experienced Project/Service Lead or Senior Engineer. Engineering Intern may be involved in various stages of a projects, starting from its design, specification, programming, simulation, and testing, of automation systems.
You will report to LIFECYCLE SERVICE BUSINESS MANAGER, TAIWAN.
Period:
Minimum duration of the internship program will be 6 months, and 3 days per week.
Your Responsibilities:
- Intern gains knowledge on Industry overview, various functions and business units of Rockwell Automation
- Intern receives training on soft skills & Interpersonal Skills
- Intern receives technical training on PLC & HMI
- Intern will be involved in active projects, in one or more of the following functions…
Electrical Control Panel Design
Preparing Bill of Material (BOM)
PLC Logic Programming (Logix Platform)
HMI Screen Development and Programming (FT View)
Understanding networks & configure network communication
Simulation of Programs
Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
- Project Readout and presentation

The Essentials - You Will Have:
Pursuing pre-final / final year full time Bachelor Engineering Degree in any of the following functions like Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Electronics & Communication.
Good knowledge and understanding of core subjects with basic knowledge of Digital Electronics and Programming Languages (any software with logical statements)
Excellent in interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills.
Analytical thinking and information seeking nature
Collaborate with teams and adaptive to learn new technologies
Attention to details & Critical thinking abilities
