Job Description

Within our R&D Radiotherapy Positioning division we are developing solutions to accurately position patients for cancer radiotherapy. To strengthen our electronics design-team, we are looking for a (Senior) Electronics Engineer Embedded Systems.

  • Development of electronic circuits considering the specific requirements of a medical device
  • Assembly, testing, and debugging of prototypes
  • Integration of system components into a complex medical device
  • Collaboration with suppliers and development partners
  • Support during regulatory approval tests (EMC, safety)
  • Development of PLC controlled systems
  • Creation and maintenance of the required documentation for medical devices
  • High‑level support for the technical support department

Qualifications

  • University degree in electrical engineering or a comparable technical field
  • Several years work experience in
    • Mixed signal circuit design
    • EMC compliant PCB design preferably using Altium Designer
    • Software development for microcontrollers preferably STM32
  • Ideally experience in
    • Automation using PLCs
    • Simulation of electronic circuits
  • Practical craftsmanship skills, e.g., in building prototypes
  • Enthusiasm for technology and a creative mind
  • Ability and commitment for problem solving
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, German is a plus
  • Good communication skills as well as a well-organized and clearly structured working style
