Position- Robotics Engineer**
Focus: Perception, calibration, targeting, path planning, manipulation
What you’ll do:-
- Own laser targeting pipeline end-to-end (perception → planning → actuation)• Build robust path planning for uneven and rugged terrain• Work on depth camera perception (RGB-D, stereo, NIR, etc.)• Develop calibration pipelines (camera ↔ robot ↔ laser ↔ ground plane)• Implement plant/weed detection → targeting → execution• Work on manipulation & motion planning• Improve targeting accuracy under vibration, uneven terrain, motion blur, lighting variation• Build ROS2 nodes for perception & planning• Optimize for real-time performance on onboard compute
• Work closely with embedded + mechanical teams
- 2+ years in robotics / autonomy / perception• Strong C++ and Python• Strong ROS2• Very strong Linux• Experience with depth cameras / 3D perception• Experience with path planning / motion planning• Understanding of robot calibration• Comfortable working with embedded systems
• Comfortable debugging hardware + software together
- Has hacker mentality• Moves fast and ships• Thinks like an owner• Comfortable in messy real-world robotics• Prefers working systems over over-engineering• Linux-first mindset
