Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Siemens PLC Developer to design, develop, and support automation systems for lyophilization (freeze-drying) equipment. The role requires strong expertise in Siemens PLC programming, motion control systems, and industrial automation, with a focus on delivering reliable and efficient control solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, program, and troubleshoot Siemens PLC systems using TIA Portal
• Work on Siemens S7-1500 (CPU 1511) PLCs for machine automation
• Configure and integrate servo drives and motion systems (S120, G120C, V90)
• Design control logic, HMI interfaces, and automation workflows
• Commission, test, and validate automation systems at site and factory
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to PLC, drives, and field devices
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams for system integration
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and documentation practices
• Support installation, FAT/SAT, and client handover processes

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation or related field
• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in Siemens PLC programming and industrial automation
• Strong expertise in TIA Portal and Siemens S7-1500 series
• Experience with servo systems and drives (S120, G120C, V90)
• Good understanding of industrial communication protocols (Profinet, Modbus, etc.)
• Experience in pharma, lyophilization, or process automation is an added advantage
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel for site commissioning and support

Additional Information

• Knowledge of SCADA/HMI development (WinCC or similar)
• Exposure to GMP/FDA compliance in pharma equipment
• Experience in process automation and batch control systems
