This Position reports to:

R&D Department Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). Each day, you will act as the first point of contact in Research and Development for specific product-related issues and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions.

The work model for the role is: {onsite}

This role is contributing to the {EL-ELSE-CNTC: Digital} in {Xiamen, China}. Main stakeholders are {ELSE}.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Responsible for the electronics Hardware related development and technical support.
• Develop and maintain Hardware test solutions, complete Hardware testing and debugging, work with SCM in material sourcing and evaluation, AVL component and supplier setup.
• Maintain and troubleshoot production test platform, ensuring it remains fully operational.
• Completion of relevant documentation in the product design process.
• Work in an international context, and release product documentation for global products

Qualifications for the role

Education Background

Bachelor’s degree or above, Major in electronics, automatic controlling

Working Experience

At least 3 years’ development experience in electronics Hardware development

Position Knowledge/Skills

• Familiar with MCU design applications like Power PC, ColdFire, ARM and the peripheral circuit on SDRAM, FLASH.
• Familiar with Analog and Digital circuit design, PCB layout, EMC/EMI focus.
• Familiar with communication protocols like Modbus, CANBUS etc.
• Familiar with the HW design tool like PADS and Altium Designer.
• Familiar with International Standard (IEC, ANSI, GHOST, …) to ability to perform the setup and analysis of the result during the type tests (EMC and Environmental).
• Experience in sensor applications, data monitoring and diagnosis is preferred, Wireless communication is a plus, eg. ZigBee, WIFI, 5G, Bluetooth.
• Experience in embedded electronic design and integration in MV/LV Apparatus and Switchgear is a plus.
• Firmware development experience is a plus
• Good in English listening, speaking, reading and writing ability; Availability to cooperate with international team.
