Novarc Technologiesis looking for aProject Managerto join our growing team and support the production of our cobots.
Summary:As a Project Manager you will be responsible for the successful execution of various Novarcs projects to ensure outcomes are in line with the company project goals, processes, contracts, and of course, requirements. In addition to this, you will assist with the planning and execution of internal process development and improvement initiatives and projects.
The ideal candidate will join the Novarc team with a strong foundation in mechanical and/or electrical engineering and a go-getter attitude.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution: Lead internal and external projects of varying complexity using Novarcs project management tools (Wrike) and standard processes, ensuring clear direction to project teams.
Stakeholder Management: Coordinate across Sales, Product, Finance, Innovation, Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Customer Operations to align priorities and maintain progress.
Communication: Provide to-the-point and concise written communication to the appropriate stakeholders, including both external and internal customers.
Scope & Risk Control: Manage client requirements, handle scope changes, and process Variation Orders (VORs).
Financial Tracking: Analyze project profitability to ensure alignment with gross margin targets; manage payment schedules and ensure timely collections per contract.
Quality & Compliance: Prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), implement corrective and preventive actions, and maintain complete, current, and organized project documentation.
Continuous Improvement: Apply data-driven insights and PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) principles to identify trends, drive process improvements, and document lessons learned for team feedback.
Technical Support:Create layout drawings in SolidWorks to guide equipment installation and learn key welding knowledge to manage projects effectively.
Business Process Improvement: Lead and assist in the development and implementation of Project Management Office, internal business process initiatives, improvements, and other projects as required.
Any other related tasks as required.
Qualifications and Experience :
Required:
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent experience
5+ year experience coordinating or managing projects in a technical or manufacturing environment
PMP/Prince2 certification
Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks
Understanding of the design process through to manufacturing and installation
Experience in a startup or small-scale manufacturing environment
Knowledge of project accounting, cash flow forecasting and invoice management
Familiarity with earned value management and measuring project progress
Problem-solving attitude
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exposure to project management software (Wrike, Zoho, MS Project, etc.)
Proven experience working with external B2B clients
Preferred:
Industrial equipment experience
Agile certifications (PMI-ACP or equivalent)
