Lead Electronics Engineer

Eaton’s Aerospace Division is currently seeking a Lead Electronics Engineer. This position is based at our Irvine, CA facility. (Relocation is offered for a qualified candidate currently residing in the USA )

The expected annual salary range for this role is $112000- $164000a year.

Position overview:

Come join a dynamic, fast-paced, team working on technology and components for the next generation of Aerospace military and commercial aircraft. The lead electronics engineer will provide expertise for design and development of electronics for both commercial and military aerospace applications. Some of the platforms you will be working on include fuel gauging systems and nose wheel steering systems, both in production and currently being developed. Like the automotive industry, Aerospace is currently in the process of electrification converting to a “more electric aircraft” that will provide significant environmental and cost benefits. • Primary function:*

• Reports to Engineering Manager, EECOE. The incumbent provides expertise for design and development of electronics for both commercial and military aerospace applications for gauging systems, ground fueling and electro-hydraulic actuation. Assignments will predominately be focused on new product development / sustaining and bringing products from the conceptual phase to product delivery and sustaining. Manages all technical aspects for these assigned projects and provides guidance to junior engineers.

Qualifications:

• Basic qualifications:*

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering , Physics, from accredited institution.

• 5 years’ experience in electronic engineering and circuit .. PCBA design preferred .
