**About the Internship **Join us for a hands-on learning experience as an FPGA Intern within the PathWave Test Sync Executive team. Youll contribute to a commercial software product that integrates FPGA IP and a core software library into Keysight hardwareenabling advanced synchronization for technologies like Quantum, 6G, and Radar. As an intern, youll support the development of intuitive APIs that help system application developers build complex solutions and manage large instrumentation systems.

**About the Team **Youll be part of a dynamic R&D team based in Barcelona, Spain, collaborating with colleagues across the USA and globally. This internship is ideal for students passionate about FPGA design and eager to explore innovation in the test and measurement industry. Youll gain exposure to real-world projects and contribute to technology that drives Keysights growth.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up and running simulation-based testing to enhance the FPGA test environment.

  • Support FPGA IP implementation through simple and well-defined tasks.

  • Contribute to technical documentation to improve clarity and facilitate future development.

  • Help strengthen the test setup to enable faster debugging and more efficient partner support.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a technical degree related to Embedded Systems or Electronics Engineering, with a focus on FPGA design and programming.

  • Good understanding of FPGA concepts and digital design principles.

  • Familiarity with HDL languages such as VHDL and SystemVerilog.

  • Ability to work independently and ask for help when needed.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Interest in building and running simulation-based tests.

  • Willingness to learn and apply debugging techniques for hardware designs.

  • Experience using Git or other version control systems.

  • Curiosity and motivation to learn new tools and technologies.

  • Exposure to simulation tools (e.g., ModelSim, Vivado, QuestaSim) is a plus.
