Florence Copper

Florence Copper is an in-situ copper recovery project located midway between Phoenix and Tucson in the community of Florence, Arizona. Setting a new standard for conservation and environmental protection in copper mining, Florence Copper produces LME Grade A copper metal on site with unmatched energy, water, and GHG conservation. As a significant employer in the region and the state, Florence Copper will support more than 810 Arizona jobs over the project lifetime and produces copper, a vital material essential to electrification, advanced manufacturing, national defense, and technologies powering the modern economy.
