Urban Robotics (Mechanical) Intern

Your Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the R&D team to support the prototyping and testing of innovative projects, including mobile platforms, AI robotics applications, and other initiatives conducted in partnership with Schaeffler and NTU.
• Support the design and development of mechanical components for robotics systems.
• Assist in setting up and validating robotics system simulations using Gazebo, MuJoCo, or Isaac Sim.

Your Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, including mechanics, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in mechanical design and with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or similar tools.
• Experience with simulation software such as MuJoCo, Gazebo, Isaac Sim, or other relevant simulation environments is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Python, C++, and/or ROS 2.
• Knowledge of robotics concepts is an advantage.
• A hands-on attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
