Student assistant(s) at SDU Robotics section

The SDU Robotics at the Faculty of Engineering in Odense seeks two student assistants. We are looking for candidates to support our activities in the SDU Robotics project activities.

For a research project in the field of lab automation we are looking for two student assistants:

  1. Robotic and mechanical focused:
    • Helping with designing and manufacturing of the robot cell prototype
    • Robot programming in python.
  2. Software focused:
    • Web based Human robot interface development (frontend and backend)
    • Skilled in web development

We are interested in candidates that can cover both areas as well as candidates that are only able to cover one of the two areas. (Please indicate which area you feel you can cover in your application.)

About you:

  • You should be able to ask for help when you need it.
  • You are expected to have adequate communication skills in English speaking and writing.
  • You have the ability to work independently as part of an agile team.
  • You have flair and a strong interest in IT.
  • We expect you to have a curious learning mentality.
  • You have a strong sense of responsibility.
  • You must be enrolled as a student at SDU.

It would be an advantage if the following qualifications are met:

  • You study in a relevant technical field (e.g., Software engineering, Robotics).
  • You have prior knowledge of programming, 3D design and manufacturing.

The starting date is agreed upon hiring

The positions are for 6 – 12 months with the possibility for extension. We expect approx. 10 hours per week. We understand the importance of the balance between job and your studies and are flexible around your working days.

Employment shall take place in accordance with the framework agreement between the Ministry of Finance and PROSA.
