Job Description

Manage of all the internal areas of the Location and satisfies the specific needs for customers and Business division during the serial life of a project. The SLM leader is the interface for the customer, the business division and manufacturing location. The SLM leader is the responsible person in the location for KPIs of his assigned projects and has under his responsibility defined budget and a project team, SLM leader acts as a Project-Manager in the Manufacturing Location.

Internal contacts:

• BA  &  plant managers (different disciplines), Operations, Controlling, Product development centers (PDC) , PM offices within Customer Service Centers as well as NPL team

External contacts:

• Customer Representatives
• Auditors & Suppliers (in specific  special cases).

Some of your responsibilities:

• Ensure the Accomplishment of IATF 16949, CSR & Company Procedures, Authority: Escalate any deviation. Shared Leadership: Participate in the QMS activities, promote the ownership, support the teams in the accomplishment of internal procedures. The priority it's to maintain the process aligned to the IATF & CSR in the QMS.
• Coordination and management of all project-related items in the location, under the needs of location, Business area and customer
• Establish the internal project plan for the project serial life necessities in agreement with the Business Area.
• Ensure customer requirements (Phase 3, APQP, PPAP-Book etc.)
• Control and coordinate the necessary acquisitions needed for the project
• Establish and ensure the needed communication channels between the location, the Business Area, Customer and the local project team
• Define and coordinate the necessary strategies to assure the continuity of production (material, quality, manufacturing)
• Achievement of project goals (KPI´S)
• Coordinate, implement and control Engineering changes for projects in his-her responsibility
• Among others..

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree (Masters degree desirable)
• 5 years of experience as leader
• 4 years of experience in manufacturing
• Have led group of people of more than 4 persons
• Have worked with international teams
• Advanced English

  • Manufacturing processes (Injection molding is a plus & automation)

  • CSRs (FORD SCCAF, SREA are a plus)

  • Supply Chain Management (Knowledge of FORD systems like BB-Chart, DPP is a plus)
