Role Overview

  • Lead a cross-functional team of engineers supporting new manufacture and repair of gas turbine components.
  • Provide technical leadership, strategic direction, and execution oversight for scalable engineering solutions.
  • Drive integration and standardization across machining, automation, tooling, and inspection disciplines.
  • Partner across departments to resolve technical challenges and support operational growth and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership across engineering disciplines, ensuring consistent standards and best practices.
  • Lead and develop engineering team members, including performance management and career development.
  • Align engineering and operations to deliver projects on schedule and meet performance targets.
  • Develop and implement scalable engineering processes to support site growth.
  • Drive continuous improvement using data analysis, emerging technologies, and process redesign.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to track progress, accountability, and performance improvements.
  • Oversee change management processes, ensuring proper review, approval, and documentation.
  • Collaborate across regional and international sites to share best practices and align engineering approaches.
  • Adhere to safety standards and support a positive, collaborative team culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Strong expertise in manufacturing processes such as milling, EDM, grinding, automation, inspection, and tooling design.
  • Experience in industrial gas turbine manufacturing or repair preferred.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional engineering teams and programs.
  • Experience scaling engineering processes and integrating advanced manufacturing technologies.
  • Familiarity with digital systems such as MES and SCADA.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills across technical and leadership audiences.
  • Proficiency with engineering tools including CAD/CAM, Excel, and documentation systems.
  • Ability to analyze technical data and make sound engineering-based decisions.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%.
