Salary Range: $34.00 - $42.00 Hourly

Opportunity:

Yamazen has an immediate opening for aRobot Programmerto join our team in Elk Grove Village, IL (Northwest Chicago suburbs). As an automation engineer you will be responsible for robot programming, project management, CAD drawings and renderings of proposed cells. The chosen candidate with will enjoy working from a state-of-the-art technical facility inElk Grove Village, IL. Our main focus will to automate our CNC Brother and/or CNC Takisawa lathes. Additional responsibilities include assisting with the redesign of our automation machine tending cell called our Flex loader and setting up suppliers.

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will possess a strong machining background that includes:

• 3 years of experience in CNC machine tending automation, both in turning and milling
• 3 years of robot programming experience, including robotic end of arm tooling design
• Up to 50% out of state travel to customer facilities is required.
• Project Management experience
• Solid organization and prioritization skills
• A strong work ethic and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines
• Strong verbal and written skills
• A valid drivers license and reliable transportation is required

Compensation and Benefits:

Range: $34.00 - $42.00
