Robot Maintenance Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Robot Maintenance Lead to support and improve robotic automation systems within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining robotic equipment, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and providing technical guidance to robot technicians to ensure reliable and efficient operations.

Primary Purpose

Responsible for maintaining all robotic equipment and driving continuous improvement in robotic automation systems.

Essential Functions

• Ensure all preventive maintenance is completed on robotic equipment
• Assist and support Robot Technicians; validate all robotic breakdown repairs
• Collect maintenance and repair data and enter information into the work order system
• Implement and support continuous improvement projects related to robotic automation
• Perform duties as assigned by management
• Coordinate with vendors to order parts and materials
• Oversee new end-of-arm tooling builds from design through production
• Support troubleshooting, programming, and optimization of robotic systems

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in robotic programming and repair of injection molding robots (Sepro or Sytrama experience required)
• Experience working with Fanuc robots
• Ability to design and build end-of-arm tooling
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills

• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift as required
• Ability to work at heights using a manlift
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
