Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). Each day, you will act as the first point of contact in Research and Development for specific product-related issues and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions.

The work model for the role is:

This role is contributing to the R&D Electrification Distribution Solutions division in San Luis Potosi.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Working as main contributor in R&D projects developing mechanical/electrical design for electrical products and with ability to guide junior team members
• Acting as project leader or senior project member and leading specific product quality improvements and follows the results
• Contributing with innovative and creative ideas to R&D activities
• Improving product quality and participating in relevant product and process improvement programs
• Writing well-structured and concise technical reports and providing consulting services to business operations and customers.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelors degree in Engineering - Mechanical, Electrical, Electro- mechanical, Mechatronics or Robotics.
• Experience 7+ years in 3D Mechanical design using software as Creo or Solidworks (sheet metal module preferred)
• Experience in electrical products (MCC, Switchgear)
• PLM experience (Windchill preferred)
• Advanced English required
