This Position reports to:
Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager
Your role and responsibilities In this role you will be responsible for supporting financial planning and analysis activities by gathering and validating data, building financial models, and developing insightful reports that enable leadership to make informed business decisions.
The work model for the role is: Li_Hybrid This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation in Bangalore, India. You will be mainly accountable for:
- Lead financial planning and budgeting, including preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, long‑range plans, and development of financial models.
- Deliver financial reporting and analysis, such as monthly/quarterly results, P&L statements, variance analysis, trend/risk assessment, and scenario/what‑if modeling.
- Manage financial data quality by consolidating, reconciling, validating, and maintaining financial databases to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Act as a business partner by collaborating with cross‑functional teams, supporting business initiatives, and communicating financial insights to stakeholders.
- Drive performance management, focusing on variance analysis, working capital, gross margin, cost insights, KPI tracking, and strategic decision support.
- Enhance process efficiency and governance by automating workflows, eliminating duplication, standardizing reporting, and ensuring adherence to controls, SOPs, and audit requirements.
- Provide training and onboarding support for FP&A analysts while contributing to continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor’s degree with professional certification such as CA or CMA qualified.
8–10 years of experience in FP&A and Controlling.
Hands‑on expertise in SAP FICO & COPA, with working knowledge of SD, Production Planning, Projects, and Material Master modules; familiarity with Oracle or similar ERPs preferred.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and detail‑oriented mindset with advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and accounting principles.
Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI and strong competency across MS Office applications.
