R&D Engineer – Software

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Responsible for the industrial software development and maintenance of laser welding and vibration welding products, including system control, motion control systems, data acquisition platforms and communication protocols, etc.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to provide reliable and high-performance software solutions to support the product development of laser welding and vibration welding products.
• Support the customized development needs and provide product technical support for application and service engineers.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related majors.
• Proficient in C/C++ or Python programming.
• Experience in application development and deployment on Linux and Windows systems.
• Experience in database design and applications (e.g., MySQL, Access, etc.).
• Industrial automation software development or embedded system experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Good English reading and writing skills for technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• 3+ years of software development experience in engineering projects.
• Experience with PLC interfaces or industrial communication protocols (such as Modbus, EtherCAT, CANopen).
• Experience in high-performance control systems or automation data acquisition system development.
