A leading talent acquisition company in Saudi Arabia is actively seeking a Process Control Systems Technician to join a dynamic team supporting a leading client in the Oil and Gas sector in Saudi Arabia. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of process control systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety. You will work closely with engineering teams to implement and upgrade systems that enhance performance while adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of process control systems, including PLCs, DCSs, and SCADA systems.

  • Monitor system performance and conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues.

  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize control systems and improve process efficiency.

  • Document all maintenance activities and updates to control system configurations and software.

  • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff on best practices for system maintenance and troubleshooting.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all activities related to control systems.

  • Provide technical support and recommendations for system upgrades or replacements as needed.

  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Process Control Systems Technician, specifically in the Oil and Gas industry.

  • Proven expertise in working with PLCs, DCSs, and SCADA systems.

  • Strong understanding of control system concepts, safety instrumented systems, and regulatory compliance.

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with an ability to analyze complex system issues.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams.

  • Willingness to work in Saudi Arabia and adapt to the operational environment.
