Mechatronic Design Engineer (Sustaining Engineering)

At Emerson, we are looking for a Mechatronic Design Engineer to join our Sustaining Engineering team supporting linear actuators and related applications. In this role, you will contribute to product development, product lifecycle support, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, marketing, and procurement. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Support the development and maintenance of linear actuators and associated product components throughout the product lifecycle.
• Participate in product improvement, cost reduction, and sustaining engineering projects.
• Create, update, and maintain 2D engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies to meet customer and market requirements.
• Contribute to product enhancements and innovation initiatives aligned with Industry 4.0 principles.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, sales, and product marketing functions.
• Support product reliability, manufacturability, and value creation activities across the product portfolio.

You are comfortable working independently while also contributing to cross-functional teams. You continuously seek opportunities to improve products, processes, and ways of working.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering.
• Professional experience in mechanical or mechatronic product design and development.
• Experience creating and modifying 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and circuit development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with local and international teams.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experience with Creo CAD software.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Familiarity with project management practices.
• Experience working in a multinational or global manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting industrial products, actuators, or electromechanical systems.
