About this Job
You will independently take on smaller sub-projects in the field of robotics and actively participate in the planning and implementation of body-in-white projects for the automotive industry. An experienced project manager who will teach you both the technical knowledge from the field of robotics / automation technology and the basic project management skills will support you. Tasks
- Assumption of project responsibility for a subsection of a body shop with a focus on robot technology
- Participation in the development of production concepts, including the technical design of the robots used, peripherals and safety technology
- Execution of cycle time analyses as well as development of solution options for cycle time achievement
- Evaluation and, if necessary, cooperation in robot simulation
- Preparation of supplier inquiries with subsequent evaluation of the offers and selection of possible suppliers
- Coordination of the commissioning phase from the robot technology side (occasionally on site at our customers)
Applicant’s profile
- University degree in the field of electrical engineering / mechatronics / automation technology or advanced training as a technician (m/f/d) or vocational training corresponding to the function
- Willingness to travel and very good knowledge of German or English
Nice to have knowledge that is not mandatory
- First experience with common simulation programs (e.g. Process Simulate, RobCad, Delmia V5 Robotics)
- First experience in robot operation/commissioning (e.g. KUKA or ABB controllers)
- Basic knowledge in welding and process engineering
