Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist the Quality team in implementing and maintaining a quality system, including conducting audits, establishing controls, training on tools and methodologies. Each day, you will support activities related to quality management within the organizational unit. You will also showcase your expertise by reporting quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and customer cases and maintaining process documentation.
The work model for the role is: onsite (Madrigalejo del Monte, Burgos, Spain).
The Quality Technician has the role of deploying and facilitating the quality culture in Autonomous Mobile Robotics (AMR) conducting audits, establishing controls, training on tools and methodologies, reporting quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintaining process documentation. In this role you will provide assistance with and maintain the quality management system, managing all aspects in line with guidance from ABB Group/division/business area
In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.
- Carry out audits of components according to the incoming control instructions. In the event of a deviation, take corrective action.
- Launch complaints to supplier when non-conformity arises and follows the corrective action plans.
- Receives and manages components returned from manufacturing unit intended to analyze with suppliers.
- Creates and manages incoming control instructions.
- Supervises control, sorting and rework operations of supplied parts, and participates if necessary.
- Supports quality assurance activities in collaboration with local Production, Engineering, and other relevant functions.
- Reports quality issues data, ensuring adherence to quality management system at all stages.
- Acquires and reports quality metrics and KPIs accurately and in a timely manner to facilitate the analysis and management of local processes.
- Utilizes measurement systems to produce data that reflect the accurate characteristics of materials, products, systems, and processes.

Qualifications for the Role
- 2 years of experience in Quality working as Quality Technician with mechanical or electronic products.
- Sound knowledge of Quality tools and Quality Management systems and the industrial / automotive market.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- A Bachelor or above degree required
- Intermediate level of English (B1).
- This position is based in Madrigalejo del Monte (Burgos).
