In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact. We are looking for an R&D Senior Hardware Engineer to join our Electrification business. The selected candidate will join a team working on High Power DC converters.

**The work model for the role is:

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Critical member of the Systems and Electrical team, Work within a multidisciplinary team to develop world class mission critical power protection equipment
  • Performs a variety of complex technology and engineering assignments
  • Realize the design of architecture and technical details, the circuit simulation and the development of electronic projects which require knowledge of analog, digital and low power electronics
  • Take care of design optimization by identification of technical, architectural and circuitry solutions, exploiting the highest integration (mechanical part, electrical components, PCBAs, etc.) and collaborating with other departments involved in the Product Development Process
  • Carry out preliminary tests for design pre-validation
  • Support the Test Lab during all the testing phases, evaluate reports of Test Lab and Quality Laboratories and express your definitive opinion on validation of final product
  • Draw up the technical documentation of systems, components, and interfaces

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years' experience with electrical systems and complex power electronic systems.
  • Experience in digital and analog circuit design and simulation.
  • Experience with EMI design and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of environmental, reliability, and safety requirements for Industrial products.
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile methodology is a plus.
  • Excellent command of English
