As our Firmware Engineer Intern, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Designing and implementing new secure embedded firmware applications in C
  • Designing and implementing supporting tools in Python
  • Designing and implementing Unit Tests
  • Reviewing and maintaining existing code base
  • Supporting the design and developing desktop engineering tools
  • Documenting and cross functional training of low level concepts

Your Experience and Background include:  

  • Min. 3rd year student in Electronics and Telecommunications, IT, etc.
  • Good knowledge of C, C++, Python language
  • Comfortable working at hardware level drivers (GPIO, UART, I2C, SPI)
  • General knowledge of test frameworks and automated build systems (e.g. Jenkins, NUnit, CMake)
  • Active student status
  • Availability to work minimum 25h per week
  • Very good English, both written and spoken - because you will be working in a multinational environment
