Mission of the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join our team dedicated to Advanced Technology Solutions (ATS).

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in deploying and supporting perception software and hardware in real-world environments, and a solid understanding of system integration challenges in large-scale sensor-based solutions.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation, reliability, and performance of our LiDAR-based perception platform and ATS deployments through field integration, customer support, and technical validation across diverse applications such as roadways, rail crossings, and airports.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the business development team and customer to design and implement site installation layouts.
  • Conduct regular project inspections and provide on-site support as necessary.
  • Communicate with customers to design and test system integrations.
  • Deliver technical training sessions for internal BD teams and external partners.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and monitor system application issues to ensure stable performance.
  • Optimize system operations by diagnosing issues, verifying stability on-site, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Coordinate and manage overall project schedules to ensure timely execution.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Field Application Engineer or equivalent, preferably in intelligent transportation systems (ITS), rail/airport safety, robotics, or 3D perception technologies (LiDAR, radar, cameras).
  • Proven experience in designing and executing test cases for complex, real-time software.
  • Strong proficiency with Linux operating systems and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Bilingual (English Korean) with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in deploying and supporting perception software/hardware solutions for real-world field environments (e.g., roadside infrastructure, mobility, or safety-critical systems).
  • Background in system integration, sensor calibration, and customer on-site technical support is strongly preferred..
