About this Job

Seoul Robotics is an autonomous driving company with a mission to solve first and last-mile logistics challenges, backed by a team of industry experts from Google, NVIDIA, Coupang, Porsche, and GM. This position offers a great opportunity to advance your professional career in the cutting-edge autonomous robotics industry, where AI/ML is embedded at the core of the product. With members from over 10 different countries, you have the chance to work in a unique international environment in the heart of Seoul, where English is our primary language. Our global clients provide opportunities to work overseas in various areas in Asia and the US.

About This Role

We're seeking an Autonomous Vehicle System Integration Engineer to lead the build, integration, and testing of infrastructure-based autonomous driving systems, called ATI(Autonomy Through Infrastructure).

In this role, you will work hands-on with hardware and software components—including LiDAR, servers running ATI, network infrastructure, and autonomous-ready vehicles—to ensure the ATI software operates reliably in real-world conditions.

You will also collaborate with internal teams and external partners to build, optimize, and support autonomous driving systems for demo events, pilot deployments, and customer projects.

Responsibilities

[1] Infrastructure-Based Autonomous Driving System Implementation Management

  • Build and manage a hardware-software integrated system to ensure the stable operation of ATI, our infrastructure-based autonomous driving software.

  • Conduct testing, system integration, and performance optimization for key hardware components such as LiDARs, servers, network infrastructure (wired/wireless), and vehicles.

  • Collaborate with hardware vendors and technical partners to coordinate integration and resolve issues during the system setup and optimization process.

[2] Demo Events Customer Support

  • Lead demo events showcasing the optimized infrastructure-based autonomous driving system to potential customers, media, and other stakeholders.

  • Work closely with the project team to deploy ATI systems for customers and provide technical support for field testing using customer-installed systems.

[3] Autonomous Driving Software Product Planning Management

  • Support the definition of requirements for ATI and related system components based on issues and insights gathered during field testing and integration.

  • Prepare essential product materials such as user manuals and technical documentation to support customer training and internal knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in system integration and field testing in the autonomous driving domain (or related technologies)

    • Research experience in autonomous or robotic systems may be considered as part of work experience for candidates with a Master’s or PhD degree
  • Expertise in at least one key component of infrastructure-based autonomous driving systems

  • Ability to understand and analyze autonomous driving software written in C++ (or similar languages)

  • Hands-on experience with Linux- and Docker-based development and testing environments

  • Ability to independently conduct field tests and troubleshoot system-level issues

  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and customers

  • Business-level proficiency in English

  • Valid driver’s license

Preferences

  • Experience with autonomous driving, autonomous parking, or ADAS-related projects

  • Understanding of CAN communication and Ethernet-based protocols

  • Experience with wireless communication systems and system-level integration

  • Hands-on experience and understanding of sensors commonly used in autonomous vehicles (e.g., LiDAR)

  • Experience in system design and validation using simulation tools

  • Experience in developing or working with fleet management or remote monitoring/control solutions

Benefits ▷ Diversity - International team (10+ nationalities) ▷ Flexible work hours ▷ Hybrid work ▷ 10 days of paid sick leave ▷ Daily meal support ▷ No dress code ▷ Premium health check (Once a year) ▷ Snacks and premium coffee
