Job Description
The SecureOT Platform Project Manager position is responsible for the leadership and delivery of services projects for customers within the SecureOT (Rockwell's Cyber) suite of offerings. You will have self-initiative, take ownership, and be commercial sensitivity with technical engineering expertise. You will be responsible for managing multifunction and multi-vendor efforts to plan, sell, implement, and support service solutions to address customers' complex business issues on projects that could exceed $1M in revenue. You will report to the PM Lead and work hybrid from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Your Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for planning, scheduling, cost forecasting, monitoring, documentation, control and reporting on all aspects of assigned projects, coordinating internal and external development and test resources and working with resource managers and other project managers to ensure staffing, project alignment and integration.
- You will also own project priorities and delivery of project expectations, and identify any issues and mitigate risk among a the project team
- You will help develop business and marketing strategies, optimizing the performance of our products to achieve business goals.
- You will need to use project management techniques, tools and established standards to ensure project deliverables are met.
- You will lead within a technical team environment, and manage a geographically dispersed engineering and project delivery organization and making use of collaboration tools and remote management skills
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
- The ability to travel 10% of the time.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering discipline or Computer Science.
- 5+ years of experience in product or application development.
- Experience in a project management or project leadership role.
- Experience with financial aspects of project management, percentage completion, revenue recognition, and project accounting.
- Demonstrated experience in project planning, execution, risk management.
- Knowledge of project management processes and tools such as PMI model, scheduling software and configuration management tools.
- Knowledge of product certifications, such as 61508 functional safety, information security, UL, NEMA, CE, TUV, and other approval agencies
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies, such as Agile methodologies like Scrum, XP or Kanban
- Commercial project achievement and leadership in a drive systems, controls engineering and automation related business
- Experience working in industrial controls, new product design, hardware/software, product testing, manufacturing or continuation and product life-cycle engineering,
- Advanced training or certifications in PMI/PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Business Administration, Management, Operations or Project Engineering is desirable.
