Allnorth is seeking Engineering Project Managers to join our Calgary and/or Edmonton team. Allnorth is seeking Engineering Project Managers to join our Calgary and/or Edmonton team. This role is dedicated to executing and delivering Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (E&IC) projects, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and leading project planning, budgeting, and scheduling. The successful candidate will work closely with E&IC engineering teams to deliver electrical, instrumentation, automation, controls, and functional safety for clients in the infrastructure, energy, and mining sectors, while supporting E&IC initiatives across Allnorth's wider operation
As the primary point of contact for assigned projects, you will coordinate internal teams, manage scope, schedule, and budgets, and ensure client expectations are consistently met. Success in this role is driven by strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lead diverse technical teams toward a common goal.
This is a full time role based out of our Calgary and/or Edmonton office. Allnorth allows for hybrid work arrangements, but the expectation would be for a minimum of three days per week in the office.

Inthisrole,youwill:
- Manage E&IC engineering projects from proposal through execution and close out.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate engineers, designers, and project team members.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Track project performance and proactively manage scope, schedule, cost, safety performance and risk mitigation. Allnorth works with the BST software package for tracking of project costs and performance.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Support proposal development, fee estimates, and project resourcing.
- Identify risks, constraints, and opportunities early and communicate clearly to stakeholders.
- Support and mentor new project managers and project coordinators to help them develop their skills
WhatYoullBringtotheTeam
- 10+ years of progressive experience in E&IC engineering, construction, or technical services.
- 5+ years of project management experience in an E&IC engineering, technical services, or consulting environment.
- Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, and cost tracking.
- Excellent oral and written communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Organized, proactive, and solution-focused approach.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or comparable formal project management training is considered an asset.
- Must be based in, or willing to work from, the Calgary Area or Edmonton Area and be available to travel to client offices as required.
- A proven self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude who is motivated by solving complex challenges.
- A strong client-focused approach, dedicated to providing exceptional client experiences to our internal and external customers.
- Registration as a professional engineer or eligibility for registration is considered an asset.
- Class 5 drivers license.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
