The monthly pay range for this role is estimated to be €2600-3700 gross (final compensation will be determined based on your competencies and experience) + daily allowance (varying between €35 – €80 per day) while on business trips.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What will you do in this role?

  • Commission controls systems on-site including electrical and PLC software commissioning and to provide support to system test activities and training for the end user.

  • Produce commissioning documentation including, but not limited to, commissioning checklists, tests specifications, Method Statements and Risk Assessments for Automated solutions to BS EN ISO 12100.

  • Interpret electrical schematics and design input information.

  • Deliver the assigned project scope and tasks by meeting\exceeding our safety, quality, On-Time-Delivery and budget requirements.

  • Ensure systems supplied are CE Compliant to the Machinery Directive.

  • Commission Safety Related Part of the Controls system solutions to the regulations and in accordance with BS EN ISO 13849/13850/60204 etc.

  • Maintain the Dematic image as a top-quality, professional company, by adopting an honest, professional and attentive approach whilst complying with the company policies.

What are we looking for?

  • Educated to degree level (bachelor’s degree or higher) in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related engineering field.

  • 3+ years of experience as Automation/Controls/Commissioning Engineer or similar role.

  • Hands-on experience with electrical commissioning.

  • Ability to understand Electrical and Electronic technical manuals & drawings.

  • Proven experience with PLC (e.g., Siemens or Allan Bradley), HMI, SCADA development and commissioning software.

  • Good understanding of bus systems (Profinet, Profibus, ASi, EthernetIP or similar).

  • Proficient with AutoCAD, Word, Excel, Project, Outlook.

  • Proven leadership skills in small Team or Area management.

  • An understanding of automated warehouses is desirable, not essential.

  • Willingness to travel internationally to customer sites for up to 80% of the time.

  • Full working proficiency in English.

  • Hold a valid driving license.
