Job Description

What you'll do:

• Responsible for project prospection and implementation of government-funded and consultancy project in clean energy, green transportation, bio science, engineering, etc.
• Prepare and coordinate project documentation and proposals, including statement of work, functional and technical specifications. Collaborate closely with internal teams, external vendors and business stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
• Plan, manage and execute emerging applications project deliverables. Ensure project scope, delivery schedule, budget, quality, changes and risk & issues are managed and mitigated to achieve business goals
• Hands-on project planning and execution on emerging applications with internal teams, external vendors and business stakeholders
• Liaise with industry partners and pursue collaboration for creating new project as well as commercialisation
• Travel to Chinese Mainland or overseas for on-site project work and support occasionally; Support ad hoc projects and assignment

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

• Master degree or above in Energy, Green Transportation, Bio science, Engineering management or equivalent, and Doctoral degree is an advantage
• At least 2 years or above solid experience in Energy, Bio science, Green Transportation or emerging applications related development
• Experience in project management and technology commercialisation is a plus
• Experience in government projects and government funded projects is an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong client-driven mindset, comfortable with people interaction
• Candidates who can demonstrate knowledge of AI, or experience and ability to apply Generative AI tools in their work, will be preferred
• Good command of English and Chinese

2. This is a fixed-term contract position for a period of 24 months subject to renewal.

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates.  A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered.  The successful candidate will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
