- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations, including Lockout/Tagout, personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols, and electrical safety standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the production and engineering teams to prioritize repairs, improve processes, and provide technical support or training to machine operators as needed.
- General Facility Maintenance: Perform general building and grounds maintenance as required.
- Supporting lean manufacturing projects as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1-5+ years of experience in CNC machine maintenance within a manufacturing or machine shop environment is typically required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with electrical test equipment (e.g., multimeters) and experience working with 480V three-phase power, VFDs, and PLCs.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with various machine tool controls (Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and blueprints.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various physical conditions (crouching, climbing, etc.).
- Certifications: High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or mechatronics is a significant plus.
