Epec is a heavily developing technology company in the area of control systems, electromobility and autonomous vehicles. Now we are looking for a Autonomous Systems Engineer to strengthen our team. You can be placed in any of Epec main offices in Finland (Seinäjoki, Tampere, Turku, Kuopio) – flexible hybrid work is possible at Epec.
What kind of tasks?
You will be responsible for research, design, development and implementation of the advanced machine control systems inside Epec projects as a part of the Assistant and Autonomous systems team. The mobile machine environment assigns special and unique requirements for robotics applications. Various projects give opportunities to specify, implement, test and verify systems in a real mobile machine environment, so you are able to see the result of your work first-hand. Epec customers include world leading machine manufacturers, and you will have the opportunity to work with them as part of the project team.

What we expect from you?
Development of autonomous and assistance systems for non-road mobile machines (NRMM) include expertise in multiple domains. You might be a good fit for the role if you have expertise in system design, software design, control algorithms, robotics, model-based design, machine vision or artificial intelligence. We expect you to adapt for the upcoming projects and tasks and be eager to learn new skills when necessary.

- Machine learning frameworks
We expect you to have an appropriate education for this job and fluent English both in speaking and writing manner. To be successful in this position, you should be able to understand broader systems and how the system components interact with each other, as well as have attention to detail. Also, an absolute must is co-operation and interaction skills together with a can-do attitude.
