Job Summary

We areseekinga motivated and technically proficient Applicationand TestEngineer to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical interface between our clients and internal engineering teams, focusing on our humanoid robot joint module products. The position involves customer technical consultations, requirement gathering,lab verification,and coordination with our global engineering development team. This is an exciting opportunity for a robotics enthusiast to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Initial training and onboarding will take place in Shenzhen for 3months, where you will collaborate closely with our engineering team to learn product intricacies and workflows. Based on business progress and individual performance, the role will transition to Shanghai thereafter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accompany Business Development (BD) colleagues in client meetings to provide technical support andfacilitatediscussions on humanoid robot joint module products.

  • Gather and summarize client requirements, technical needs, and feedback from interactions.

  • Act as a bridge between clients and the company’s global engineering development team by relaying requirements and ensuring clear communication.

  • Follow up on requirement handovers to the engineering team, track progress, and provide updates to clients to ensuretimelyresolution and satisfaction.

  • Support product demonstrations, troubleshooting, and basic customization advice during client engagements.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine product applications based on real-world feedback.

  • Document technical interactions, requirements, and outcomes for internal knowledge sharing.

  • Interface and coordinate with the engineering team of JE's joint venture companies to ensure seamless cross-team collaboration.

  • Potentially travel abroad for technical exchanges with overseas clients, including international travel and support.

  • Able toidentifyproduct mech/elec/control parametersthroughrelative instruments and devicesin labtest.

  • Guide laboperatorsto actproficientlyaccording to customer expectations, also domestic andinternationalstandards.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, ora related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in technical support, application engineering, or customer-facing roles in robotics, automation, or hardware products.

  • Ideal candidates have 5+ years of work experience with a strong background in the robotics industry.

  • Strong technical aptitude with knowledge of robotics systems, joint mechanisms, actuators,servo drive,EtherCAT/CANtechnologies. Familiarity with humanoid robots is a plus.

  • **Fluency in English (written, spoken, reading, and listening)**is mandatory, as the role involves international client interactions and technical documentation.

  • Proficiencyin Mandarin Chinese for internal communications.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proactive problem-solver with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or team collaborations, including international trips.

  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and learn quickly.

  • Preferred: Background in mechatronics with experience in motor, reducer, servo drive product design, or relatedelectronicsproduct development.

  • Stay humbleand integrity in working pressure. Can-do attitude and open mindset.

Location and Work Arrangement

  • Initial 3 months: Based in Shenzhen, China, working closely with the engineering team for hands-on training and product immersion.

  • Post-onboarding: Transition to Shanghai, China, based on business needs and personal development progress.

  • Hybrid work model possible, with flexibility for remote collaboration tools.
