Job Overview Amazon Robotics is seeking a Production Technician who will be responsible for Robotics assembly, Material Handling, and product packaging.

Job Requirements: Production Technicians are members of the Assembly and Logistics teams within the general manufacturing team responsible for building, automated testing, and packaging of Amazon products manufactured internally.

Key job responsibilities (2nd shift only position) - Production associates use their general knowledge of manufacturing tools (including but not limited to torque tools, wrenches, channel locks, etc.) and follow written/verbal instructions to perform the following: - Required tasks and build electro-mechanical units utilizing industry best practices. - Shipping, receiving, maintaining, tracking, and delivering goods for manufacturing following appropriate protocols. - Learning systems and tools for material management as well as coordinate methods of delivery with suppliers and customers - Seeking out improvements in processes to continuously meet on time delivery of goods. - Ability to operate Power Industrial Equipment & pallet jacks for loading and unloading trailers - General knowledge of manufacturing tools (including but not limited to torque tools, wrenches, channel locks, etc.) and follow written/verbal instructions

Basic Qualifications: - Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal - Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach - Experience in a high volume, high production operations environment Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of automated material handling systems, packaging technologies and storage solutions - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities - Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing - Experience with computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Experience with Oracle ERP software and manufacturing execution systems

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $52,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $66,560/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
