University of Maryland Global Campus

The University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) is a public university founded in 1947 to support working adults and military servicemembers. It is the largest provider of postsecondary education in Maryland and a leader in online and hybrid education worldwide. UMGC is headquartered in Adelphi, Maryland, and operates over 175 classroom and service locations globally, including on U.S. military installations. UMGC offers more than 135 degree and certificate programs at various levels, including associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. The university is recognized for its innovative online education, particularly for adult learners and military-affiliated students.
