Position Specific Description*

This is a Wind Tech 2 position located in Casper, Wyoming.

Join NextEra Energy, the nation's largest infrastructure developer. Critical front-line role ensuring safe and optimal wind farm operations. Focus on equipment maintenance, diagnostics, and long-term reliability.

Key Responsibilities:*

• Execute Safety Management System procedures and OSHA compliance • Work outdoors at heights in various weather conditions• Troubleshoot electrical components (relays, breakers, contactors)• Maintain mechanical components (motors, gear drives)• Perform routine annual preventative maintenance• Operate provided tablet technology• Collaborate on maintenance solutions and improvement projects• Support recruitment and development of other technicians• Assist with safety/environmental reporting and turbine availability• Participate in Lean Six Sigma processes
