About this Job
At GalaxEye Space, we are pioneering the next generation of Earth observation solutions with our cutting-edge satellite technology. As a fast-growing space-tech startup, our mission is to revolutionize the way we gather, process, and deliver geospatial intelligence. Join us to become a part of an agile, high-impact team working at the forefront of space innovation.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineering Intern to support our satellite testing, test-data systems, and digital twin development. This is a hands-on learning role in which you will assist the V&V team with environmental test campaigns and the software tools used to capture, view, and report test data.
Working under close supervision, you will gain practical exposure to how satellite hardware is tested and how test data is logged, visualized, and reported. You will also support the development of the satellite digital twin, a virtual model used for simulation and analysis. This role suits a current engineering student or recent graduate looking to build experience in space-systems verification and test.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the setup and data logging of environmental test campaigns, including thermal vacuum (TVAC), vibration (VIB), and electromagnetic interference/compatibility (EMI/EMC) tests, under supervision.
Help build and test components of the software applications used to log test data.
Help build and test components of the user interface (UI) software used to view and visualize logged test data.
Help build and test reporting features, including data export and import.
Support tasks related to the development of the satellite digital twin (a virtual model of the satellite used for simulation and analysis).
Maintain accurate test records and supporting documentation under guidance.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a Bachelor's degree (B.Tech / B.E) in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
Skills & Requirements
Foundational understanding of, or coursework in, hardware testing and/or software development.
Exposure to software development, with an interest in building data logging, UI, and reporting applications.

Attention to detail and a willingness to follow disciplined documentation practices.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with spaceborne or satellite systems is an advantage.
