Unmanned Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Position Location: Riga, Latvia (On-site role)

We are seeking a skilled Unmanned Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team . In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operation of unmanned aircraft through  the inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS)

Key Responsibilities:

Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)

Inspects and tests aircraft systems, including propulsion, avionics, airframes, and payloads

Troubleshoots malfunctions and replace or repairs defective components

 Conducts thorough post-incident inspections and performs structural and system repairs following aircraft crashes or hard landings

Maintains accurate maintenance records, logs, and incident reports

Assists in the development of maintenance programs

Ensures equipment and tools are properly maintained

Supports pre-flight and post-flight operations, including system checks and diagnostics

Ensures all maintenance and repairs are conducted in accordance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

Holds a technical education qualification (preferably a bachelor’s degree)

Has experience with or knowledge of UAV systems or aviation maintenance is considered an advantage

Is able to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics

Possesses strong diagnostic and mechanical skills

Demonstrates strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Is proficient in the use of manual tools and hand-held equipment for mechanical repairs

Is proficient in MS Office

Has good command of English.
