Job Description

As a Solution Manager Telematics, you will be responsible for driving solutions, defining the solution's vision, coordinating teams, and ensuring that the strategy leads to a high-quality outcome. A key part of the role is to identify, understand, and translate customer needs into clear, actionable technical solutions that create true value for the customer. You will:

  • Manage customer communication, convey the vision of the solution, provide ongoing updates, and ensure close coordination between the customer and the development teams.
  • Have the overall responsibility for the Solution Backlog, where you will continuously prioritize, refine, and ensure that the backlog is up to date and aligned with the solution's goals;
  • Be responsible for release planning and overall delivery planning to ensure efficient deliveries in accordance with the agreed strategy and timeline;
  • Work in close collaboration with development teams and other stakeholders, where you will coordinate the work, manage dependencies between teams and create the necessary conditions for efficient, high-quality deliveries; 
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating product quality, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring the continuous development of the solution.

This is a resident role, meaning that you will be employed by AUMOVIO while working on-site at one of AUMOVIO’s partner companies.

Qualifications

  • You are motivated by translating these into concrete, feasible solutions within complex systems.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field;
  • Preferably 6–8 years of experience in developing complex systems;
  • Good understanding of software architecture;
  • Extensive experience in developing solutions from start to finish and managing high-value technical relationships;
  • Experience with real-time systems and embedded Linux environments;
  • Ability to define correct and efficient APIs and build solid foundations for complex embedded systems;
  • A quick learner who is comfortable testing new working methods and technologies;
  • Good problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working directly with customers;
  • Experience with SOA (service-oriented architecture) applied in embedded environments;
  • Strong communication and consultative skills;
  • Previous experience with telecommunications within the automotive industry in general;
  • Experience with HPC (high performance computing).
