Your Role

Mobile Robotics is a key strategic growth area within BEUMER Group. In this role, you take end‑to‑end technical responsibility for mobile robotics solutions within the Logistic Systems portfolio. You act as a technical integrator and thought leader, connecting Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Software Solutions, Innovation & Development, and external robotics partners to create scalable, standardized, and globally deployable system solutions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Own the technical roadmap for Mobile Robotics within Logistic Systems
  • Define and further develop system architectures, technical standards, and guidelines
  • Take technical product and system responsibility for:
    • MR‑based sorting and intralogistics systems
    • Additional Logistic Systems applications based on external mobile robotics solutions
  • Develop modular and scalable solutions for global reuse
  • Translate market, customer, and business requirements into robust technical concepts
  • Technically evaluate, qualify, and integrate external robotics and technology partners
  • Define integration and interface standards to ensure system interoperability
  • Closely collaborate with the Platform Team in Innovation & Development to ensure a consistent overall architecture

Your Profile

  • Completed degree in automation engineering, computer science, or a comparable field
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Intralogistics system architectures
    • Mobile robotics (AMR/AGV) and fleet management
    • Technical product or system ownership
  • Strong expertise in system and platform architecture as well as interface and integration design
  • Experience working with international stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Very good German and English language skills
  • Strong communication skills and confident stakeholder management
  • Structured, solution‑oriented working style with a clear sense of ownership
