This position will provide the opportunity to support the survey team by performing field work and the processing of data. We pride ourselves in fostering collaboration and an environment where each employee is an integral part of a team, not just another number. TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned. Perform field survey work, including network control surveys, right of way plats, topographic surveys, boundary surveys, construction surveys, 3D modeling, and LIDAR scanning. Perform field investigations and surveys to support the creation and maintenance of digital base mapping and parcel mapping. Use various surveying programs to gather, review and process field data. Assist with survey control, quality assurance survey, and volume computations. Assist with conducting construction modeling, staking, and file recordkeeping. Use 3D technologies to identify and resolve conflicts. Assist with conducting topographic mapping, scanning, and modeling. Perform mathematical computations concerning survey measurements and land records. Maintain survey field notes, sketches and other documentation. Maintain, prepare and use surveying equipment. QualificationsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Working towards an associates degree in surveying or CAD technology or related field Working knowledge of Survey data collection procedures Experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or MicroStation Experience with Trimble robotic and GPS equipment PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
