- Define validation requirements, confidence metrics, and KPIs for safe, comfortable autonomous driving
- Create simulation evaluation frameworks that support continuous release and launch decisions
- Analyze driving behaviors and large-scale simulation data to influence autonomy stack development
- Collaborate across systems engineering, AI, safety, and testing teams to align validation approaches
- Mentor engineers and promote best practices in autonomy evaluation and simulation confidence
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Data Science, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, robotics, autonomy, or data-intensive engineering roles
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and SQL for large-scale data analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets
- Proven ability to communicate effectively across both high-level strategy and deep technical detail
- Experience with safety-critical systems and requirements-driven development
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, highly technical environments
Benefits:
- Competitive base salary range of $165,000 to $253,200, depending on experience and location
- Incentive bonus program tied to company, role, and individual performance
- Comprehensive health and wellbeing benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage
