Job Description:

Lattice Semiconductor is seeking a Software Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead the delivery of FPGA software tools to enable customers to design, integrate, and deploy solutions on Lattice FPGA platforms. This role drives execution across globally distributed teams including Software Engineering, Silicon Devices, Soft‑IP, Applications and Marketing with accountability for scope, schedule, quality, risk, and customer experience.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience delivering large-scale enterprise software platforms, strong cross functional leadership, and a passion for leveraging AI driven automation to improve efficiency, scalability, and end-user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end execution of FPGA software tools programs, ensuring on time, high quality releases
  • Partner with engineering teams to translate product and customer requirements into clear plans and specifications for FPGA software tools (e.g., compilers, SDKs, runtimes, user workflows)
  • Manage schedule, scope, resources, dependencies, risks, and reporting across multiple concurrent tool releases
  • Engage and align global cross functional stakeholders to drive execution and resolve issues
  • Define and track KPIs for adoption, performance, release readiness, and customer satisfaction
  • Improve developer and program efficiency through process improvement, automation, and enterprise best practices
  • Apply AI based tools and data driven approaches to enhance productivity, quality, and customer experience
  • Drive execution of FPGA software tools for internal and external customer support
  • Provide clear, concise communications to executive leadership on status, risks, and trade‑offs

Qualifications

  • BS in EE, CE, CS, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in the technology industry, with significant experience in software program management
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise class software tools or platforms with complex workflows and broad user adoption
  • Ability to apply enterprise software rigor (scalability, reliability, metrics, automation) to FPGA software tool delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to drive complex, cross functional programs with multiple dependencies
  • Track record of delivering high-quality products on schedule
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience

  • Product lifecycle management for software and Soft‑IP
  • Experience with semiconductor, or hardware adjacent software environments
  • Experience with EDA Software Tool flow
  • Hands-on experience leveraging AI, automation, or analytics to improve delivery efficiency and customer experience
  • Experience supporting complex system environments involving hardware, software, or integrated platforms
  • Experience driving security compliance and/or Functional Safety (FuSa)
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams

Pay & Benefits

Consistent with Lattice Semiconductor values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline, and our compensation range reflects the cost of labor in the U.S. geographic market based on the location of the role. Pay within these ranges varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant work experience.

For candidates who receive and offer, the starting salary will vary based on various factors including, but not limited to, such qualifications as, skill level, competencies, and work location.The range provided may represent a candidate range and may not reflect the full range for an individual tenured employee.

Base Pay Range

219744.77

In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for variable/ incentive compensation and/ or equity. In addition, this role is eligible for a comprehensive, competitive benefits package which may include healthcare and retirement plans, paid time off, and more!
