About this Job
At NEURA Robotics, live demos and exhibitions are where our technology becomes visible. At trade fairs, customer events, roadshows, partner meetings and internal showcases, our robots must not only look impressive — they must work reliably, safely and convincingly.
We are looking for a hands-on technical owner who takes responsibility for all robot demos and event applications. This includes industrial robots, humanoids, AMRs, grippers, sensors, software features and complete application setups.
Your Mission & Challenges
You are responsible for the technical preparation, setup and operation of our demos at events worldwide. You make sure that every robot, application and technical showcase is ready, tested, safe and able to perform reliably in front of customers, partners, media and visitors.
You take technical ownership of all robot demos, applications and live showcases at trade fairs, exhibitions, customer events, roadshows and partner events.
You plan and coordinate demo setups with robots, humanoids, AMRs, cobots, end-effectors, sensors, software applications and connected systems.
You ensure that every demo is technically functional, safe, stable and clearly understandable for the target audience.
You define all technical requirements for each event, including space, power supply, network, safety areas, robot positioning, floor conditions and operating procedures.
You coordinate the preparation of demos before shipment, including testing, documentation, packing, spare parts and fallback options.
You manage the technical setup and commissioning on-site and ensure that all demos are ready before the event starts.
During events, you oversee the technical operation of the demos, coordinate support staff and solve technical issues quickly and pragmatically.
You work closely with application engineering, product management, R&D, software, hardware, sales, marketing, logistics and external partners.
You decide together with the relevant teams which demos are suitable for each event and what is needed to make them event-ready.
You create and maintain clear demo readiness processes, including checklists, test plans, risk assessments and escalation paths.
You support sales and marketing with technical explanations and help translate complex robotics applications into understandable live demonstrations.
You continuously improve the demo portfolio and develop reusable, scalable demo concepts for future events.
After each event, you collect feedback, document lessons learned and implement improvements.
What we can look forward to
You have several years of experience in robotics, automation, application engineering, mechatronics, technical project management or a comparable technical field.
You have experience preparing and operating complex technical systems in customer-facing or live demonstration environments.
You have a solid understanding of robots, AMRs, humanoids, automation systems, sensors, end-effectors, software applications and system integration.
You are confident in hands-on technical work, including setup, testing, troubleshooting and on-site support.
You understand how hardware, software, safety, logistics and application requirements come together in a live demo setup.
You are able to manage several demos, deadlines, stakeholders and priorities at the same time.
You work well with cross-functional teams and can coordinate engineering, product, sales, marketing, logistics and external suppliers.
You stay calm under pressure and find practical solutions when technical issues occur before or during an event.
You identify risks early and prepare realistic backup plans.
You are structured, reliable and hands-on, with a strong sense of ownership from preparation to execution.
You are passionate about robotics, humanoids, AMRs, AI and future automation technologies.
You can explain technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
You communicate confidently in English. German is an advantage.
You are willing to travel nationally and internationally.
